Dear fellow members of the Body of Christ at Hope,
Romans 8: 38-39 says: “ For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
On April 5, 2020 we will begin our journey with our Lord down the path to Jerusalem, to the Upper Room, to the Garden, the Cross, and ultimately the open Tomb. We have walked this same path many times in our lives, but this year will be different; we will be making the journey from the social distance of our homes, due to the effect of COVID-19. However, there is no way that a virus can suppress the enthusiasm, can steal the joy, or can kill the hope that we find in our Lord’s ultimate acts of love for us.
For this reason, HOPE will present on-line worship services on:
Palm Sunday at 11:00 am
Maundy Thursday at 7:00 pm
Good Friday at 7:00 pm
Easter Sunday, the Festival of the Resurrection, at 11:00 am.
These services will be presented via Facebook, with the reading of the Word and a message from Pastor Andrews, and music via video links. Although we are unable to be physically present together, we are all one in the Spirit, and the presence of God’s children in HOPE will provide the majesty and pageantry that befits this season.
Additionally, Pastor Jim has been providing a daily devotional to help us bring the Spirit closer as we go through this time together. Click here to read.
The Church building and office will not be open.
Please feel free to call Pastor Jim or Ann Wood at home, or email us, if you need information or to communicate in any way with us.
Pastor Jim will be available to address any spiritual needs you may have.
With prayers for good health, peace, and LOVE,
