RESTORING HOPE

Based on guidance from the State of Illinois and the Centers for Disease Control, public worship services have resumed at Hope, effective January 31, 2021.  Our area is currently in Phase 4 Mitigation of the Governor’s Restore Illinois Plan, in which gatherings of up to 50 people are permitted, with appropriate
social distancing and hygiene protocols in place.

We continue to livestream our services to our Facebook page every Sunday, with live liturgy and music from Church.

We will continue to offer drive-up communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, after the second service.

Please keep an eye on your bulletins, which will be emailed every week, for any additional information

These are uncertain times, and that there is a lot of apprehension about what to do as time goes on. We have had many discussions, considered many possible options about how to proceed, and prayed about it extensively.   Given all the information available, we feel that this plan is the most faithful way to handle our situation. Please continue to pray for our ministry at Hope, and the well-being of all our fellow citizens, as we continue forward.

Pastor Jim has been providing a daily devotional to help us bring the Spirit closer as we go through this time together.  Click  here  to read.

The Church office will be open during regular hours:
9:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Pastor Jim continues to work from home, and will be available to address any spiritual needs you may have.  He can be contacted by phone or email.

Romans 8: 38-39 says: “ For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Although we may be unable to be physically present together, we are all one in the Spirit,
and all united as God’s children in HOPE.

Declare God's Love.  Do God's Will.  Dance With the Spirit.
