Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

All children in grades 5-12 are considered a part of Hope’s Youth Group.  Junior High Youth Group offers events such as the back-to-school swim party, Fright Fest (Six Flags), Lake Geneva Winter Retreat, Christmas Dinners, lock-ins, game nights, and more.  Senior High Youth Group does all of those events in addition to Whirleyball, New Horizons (monthly bible study), Lake Geneva Summer Retreat, Mission Trips, and Leadership Lab.  Amidst all the fun trips and outings are also service opportunities – we work hard and play hard!  While these sound like a lot of activities, WHY they participate in them is even more important.  Youth Group builds a foundation that can’t be found in youth sports or many of the other activities they are currently doing.  Youth Group builds camaraderie with other children and adults who share the same beliefs, and offers a sense of belonging that isn’t based on awards, competitions, or “being the best”.  The goal is to make the children feel that the Youth Group is “theirs” and always there for them.
