  Leadership Retreats

In an effort to to understand the ways in which God has gifted each and every one of us to do God's work in God's Kingdom, and the ways that God created us to accomplish that work, we are encouraging everyone to explore their Spiritual Gifts by taking the Spiritual Gifts Survey:

Spiritual Gift Workshop

Recently, a group of our church leaders attended an incredible workshop where we learned how our Spiritual Gifts can be identified and used for ministry in our church, in our communities and throughout the world we live in—in ways that we can really make a difference. We are now making this workshop available to our entire congregation.

This workshop will be hosted and led by Yvette Ewing, the Executive Director of Fuller Center for Housing-Hero
Project located in Waukegan, IL. Yvette is a remarkably gifted educator and well versed in how a church can best
utilize the spiritual gifts of its members to best serve and grow church participation, which is a key element in church growth and health. I believe that you will become engaged with her electric personality and will be surprised to learn how much of a difference it can make to the overall health of a church to be able to identify and then utilize our gifts in a spiritually guided and unified manner.

The workshop will take place at the Fuller Center on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You can register for this event by contacting Pastor Jim directly, or by adding your name to the sign-up sheet in the church narthex.
It is my sincerest hope that you will make it a point to join us at this most important event. Finding your place in this world is always a challenge. Finding what God has designed you to do makes it less challenging and infinitely more rewarding. Please give this your prayerful consideration. I believe that you won’t be disappointed.
