Hope Lutheran Church is a Christian Family serving the Buffalo Grove/Long Grove communities for over 30 Years. Actually, today our church serves members from 17 communities.
Since 1978 Pastor Michael S. McPherson (Pastor Mike) has given his flock the resources to serve our Lord. He inspires us by demonstrating his faithfulness.
Two worship services are offered from September thru May — an 8:30am traditional service and an11:00am contemporary service. Our Sunday school at 9:45am offers our children a meaningful experience in knowing the love of Jesus. Our High School and Adult Forums meet during this time period as well. In addition to our worship services, we have active women’s (WELCA), men’s, senior and youth groups. Our youth group participates in service mission trips and Leadership Labs.
We are on a journey to deepen our faith by becoming disciples of Jesus. I encourage you to join us for a five week series of Discipleship Discussion Groups starting at various times throughout the year. The group meets once a week and is designed around the Six Marks of Discipleship. If not I would like to recommend the book "Real Faith for Real Life" by Michael W. Foss. It is available at Amazon.com. The book is a personal journey for you to understand and deepen your faith in Jesus Christ.
